As the stomach produces gastric acid, it also produces mineral by-products, such as, bicarbonates, which act as mineral buffers, so that the digestive fluid doesn’t become too acidic.

Our westernized diet many times overwhelms our stomach, bringing heartburn, acid reflux and discomfort.

Gut health is very important for proper nutrient absorption yet, the digestive track can be overwhelmed with acids.
